I have been feeling very unprepared for this little boy coming in March. So these past few weeks I have been nesting and panicking that I only have 8 more weeks to go. After Christmas decorations got put away, my mom and I got the cradle down and the car seat out and this pretty pink bouncer. I couldn't justify putting my little guy in this oh so femine bouncer so I made a slip cover for it. It turned out better than expected and now he can keep his masculinity. I also made a nursing cover up which I wish I had with Haylee and I made a baby sling which I have yet to try out (youtube is awesome). I have a ways to go but it is coming along. I can't wait for him to get here!
Haylee and Madison were invited to Haylee's friend, Kate's, princess birthday party. They had lunch, sang and danced with Ariel and got their hands painted. It was so adorable to see them dressed up. Truly a party for a princess.
Christmas was in Utah this year with Jason's parents and we had a great time spending time with the family. Although it was very cold we stayed warm inside and found lots to do. Haylee really enjoyed seeing her cousins Brenden and Collin. Collin is just two months older so he teaches Haylee the ropes. Like climbing in and out of the crib. Even though she doesn't sleep in a crib any more they found this very entertaining. I think their encouraging words for eachother was what was the cutest part. Like "Come on Haylee" and "Almost".
Jason knew everything he was getting except this, which I secretively ordered it online and had it shipped straight to UT so he wouldn't find out. Good planning on my part.
She got princess dress up clothes for Christmas and when she put snow white on she liked it for about a minute and then wanted it off cause "the witch get me" she said.
All three of them in their Christmas jammies.
Don't really know what they are up to.
Tubing with Brenden
These two were a crack up with the cutest imaginations.
I think almost every child goes through the cheesy smile phase. We had a great time making gingerbread houses and Haylee had a great time eating all the candy.
She was very excited to go play in the snow and only lasted about 10 minutes.
The three amigos
Grandma Debbie got her a new baby and the endless accessories that come with it that are scattered throughout the house now. She is getting a lot of practice in with her baby so she is ready when brother gets here.
She took it upon herself to paint her nails with her markers and she was very proud.
