HAY FEVER

Haylee has been getting so big. She is the best big sister, better than I imagined. She is always trying to keep her brother happy. She is a great helper around the house. She likes to fold laundry, put away dishes, set the table and clean her room. Her favorite thing is to do it all as a "caprise".
* She was watching Super Why and they were asking her to say her name and participate and she was getting so mad cause she was tired and had just woken up. She said to me "They keep talking to me!" I thought is was so cute she is a very good listener.

* She also asked me " Can you put him (Jackson) away right now, I love him I love him so much but I want him to take a nap so I can watch a show." She can usually watch naps when Jackson sleeps because it keeps her quiet but this particular day she wanted him to take a nap a little earlier than usual.

* This is just regular dinner talk from Haylee " I have to find the perfect glass slipper!" She is also into our conversations and tries to throw in a few adult commentaries of her own.

* St. Patricks Day- "I'm so mad cause I not go to friends house, it's Patricks day and no bunnies come to my house and give me candy and that's why I'm so mad." I can't help myself laugh when she is mad because I think it is so darn cute. But that makes her more mad.

These two kids are the light of my life and I love love love watching them grow and become their own self .

Birthday and Triathlon

We went to Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday, Mother's Day and my grandpa's birthday a little earlier. We had a great fun filled family weekend. Turning 25 kind of stung a little, I still don't think it has sunk in. I'm glad these two girlies got to play a lot together.

We went to dinner for my birthday after we took the large Johnson family picture with my whole extended family(that's why were all matching). It went pretty smooth considering how many people there are.
He is the reason I went to Las Vegas for my birthday. I cherish every minute I have with him.
St. George triathlon weekend was pretty crazy. It didn't help that the weather was crappy the whole week before so it was hard to get in a few more trainings. I was so appreciative that my parents and my sister made the extra effort to come support me.
I've said it before and I'll say it again... the water was FREEZING! I was so bummed because that was my strong point and the cold water threw me completely off.

The biking was pretty good. There was a gnarly hill but the good thing about hills are that yeah it's hard to go up them but the ride down is awesome.

I loved having my family at the finish line to congratulate me. Haylee said "You didn't even get tired mommy"

You know if you would have asked this Krista if she wanted to do it again I would have said no. But now that it is all said and done I am determined to beat my time and to train harder because I know I could have done better. I am glad I finished and I accomplished my goal.

I took a few pictures of Jackson for his one year pics. No I'm not getting into photography I just like to practice on my kids.

Haylee loves maddie so much they play so well together and now that they are a little older their conversations are so entertaining.

My dad and I went on a couple bike rides while we were in Vegas. Triathlon is 9 days and counting!!!

Haylee was helping Grandma plant flowers and took it upon herself to trim back the bushes one leaf at a time with scissors. What a good helper.

Grandma had this dress stowed away and found it appropriate to pull out since Haylee is so obsessed with weddings and getting married. It was the perfect dress for her.

For Easter we went to Bear Lake with Jason's family. We dyed Easter eggs, had an egg hunt and swam.

The Easter bunny brought Bell for Haylee.
