Staying busy

This weather is really cramping our style. I am so ready to plant my garden and play outside. I got a few things started like green beans and lettuce to name a few. The girls planted some of their own as well. It was quiet the mess but really fun. Look at cute Jack attack wanting to get in on the action.

You know growing up in Las Vegas I never got to "play" in the snow. My family would go up to Mt. Charleston and going tubing but never have I made a snow fort other wise know as the princess castle. I had so much fun making this (pretty sure I had more fun then Haylee) but of course as soon as she saw the castle taking its form she became snow white and I became the witch who spent the next half hour dipping poisonous apples and falling off of cliffs (rocks) while the dwarfs chased me. I love her imagination.

My First ...

My first triathlon is just around the corner and I really don't know what to think of it. I know I'm excited but I really don't know what I'm in for. I blame my lack of training on the weather first and for most. I am pretty stubborn when it comes to exercising (Diana could tell you) I don't do butterfly in swim practice and I definitely don't go running in the cold. May 21 will be here sooner then I know and subconsciously I feel if I post it on my blog I will be held accountable to more than just myself. Happy training!

Haylee's Dance/Tumble Class

Haylee started a dance / gymnastics class that is once a week for an hour. She loves it and the first half she does ballet. I couldn't take any pictures cause they have the parents stay in the waiting room and watch on a TV. Which I could see the benefits of but I sure wish I could give encouraging waves from a window. Gymnastics has a window as you can tell from the glare on the pictures. Jackson just has a ball playing at the train table and giving mommy a work out going up and down the stairs.

First booboo

Jackson's first big booboo.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Holland's

Jason got mud gear. Which is perfect for his outdoorsyness.
She is so innocent I wonder where she picks up some of this stuff. You will find the barbies usually naked around the house.

Haylee got a barbie and a ken along with many other things. You can tell by her face that she was very excited for them.

we were very spoiled this year and we are very lucky to be able to celebrate Christmas with both sides of our family.

Tree House Museum

We went to the tree house museum today with our neighbors Kelly and her daughter Ella. It was so much fun and I couldn't help think of the children museum I would go to when I was growing up. This place had so much fun stuff to do we are going back for sure and spending more time there to see it all. These are for Kyle in Guatemala.

She was fascinated with the Indian tepee with a fake fire inside.
Milking a cow (it really had water come out of it) She's getting her practice in for when we move to a farm.

Jackson loved the museum. I forget that he is getting so big and loves to be interactive with the big kids.
The baby section, they only had three babies so you can see Haylee claiming her territory.

Few more pictures of the cruise

Just a few more pictures of the cruise and then I promise I'll stop talking about it. But as you can tell in the picture above I was trying to shield myself from the stingrays with Jason's body. I was proud of myself for even getting in. This water is stuff you only see in movies I couldn't believe the crystal clearness of it.
